The Art Of Fishing

The art of fishing involves a lot of variables. Loosely defined the art of fishing is convincing a fish to eat the lure or bait you have presented to it, fighting the fish until you tire it out and can can get it in the boat or on shore.
People worldwide fish. Fishing goes back about 10,000 years and there have been many different ways to fish. Back in those times fishing was done for food. In modern times people fish for fun, relaxation, and for food. Fish are very tasty if prepared properly.

Guy Fishing Fishing is a great sport that gets you outdoors, out of the house into nature. Fishing is relaxing and fun. Some people fish once or twice a year and some people ( Like Me ) go fishing whenever they can. Just look at the photo to the left, there is nothing better than that!

To me fishing is more than going out on Saturday's and Sunday's trying to get that big one. Fishing is a lot more for me because I have for the past several years ran a site like this and besides a little ice fishing doing this site keeps me involved all winter. I also do a little tackle making.

I will have much more information on fishing. Everything from fishing knots to cleaning and cooking fish and how to use lures and baits. I would also like to set up a forum on this site. I may go into lure making down the road if I see some interest.
